Inaugural Award for Research on Adolescent Mental Health and Well-Being
We are thrilled to introduce the Distinguished Achievement Award in Adolescent Mental Health Research. This new annual award, which includes a monetary prize, celebrates innovation, impact, and dedication to improving the lives of young people through empirical research. Honorees will have demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing scientific understanding, developing effective interventions, and shaping policy and practice that supports the mental health of adolescents and young adults. Awardees will be formally recognized at the bi-annual summit hosted by Northwestern's Institute for Adolescent Mental Health and Well-Being.
We invite nominations and self-nominations of individuals whose work has transformed the landscape of youth mental health research. Nominations from across disciplines are welcome.
More details on the nomination process will be shared in the spring of 2026.
