Institute affiliate Alexandra Psihogios awarded a two-year grant from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The grant is in support of a project titled "Influencer-Led Education and Navigation to Improve Follow-Up Care Engagement in Adolescent and Young Adult Leukemia and Lymphoma Survivors."

Prof. Psihogios and her research team explore how partnerships with social media influencers can enhance cancer care delivery for adolescents and young adults (AYAs). Their initiatives aim to improve outcomes across the cancer continuum by boosting pre-medication knowledge, treatment adherence, and feelings of social support among AYAs.
