“PrEP4Teens” social marketing and community mobilization campaign co-founded by Institute affiliate Kathryn Macapagal wins community-academic partnership award.

Led by Prof. Macapagal, TaskForce Prevention and Community Services, Jim Pickett Consulting, and Northwestern University, the PrEP4Teens campaign empowers youth to raise awareness and reduce stigma around HIV prevention through creative, youth-driven messaging. Since its launch in 2023, PrEP4Teens has reached tens of thousands locally and nationally through murals, social media, public events, and educational outreach, and has been recognized by national media and public health organizations for its innovative approach and measurable impact.
