Hui Zhang

Dr. Hui Zhang is a Professor of Preventive Medicine (Biostatistics) in the Division of Biostatistics, Department of Preventive Medicine, Northwestern university Feinberg School of Medicine, with multiple joint appointments in the Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Institute for Public Health and Medicine. He obtained his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Rochester, and before joining Northwestern, he was an Associate Member at the Department of Biostatistics, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He has extensive experience in applying statistics in adolescent psychology and psychiatry research, with ~60 papers published on related journals such as Journal of Pediatric Psychology, General Psychiatry, Psychological Assessment, Journal of Adolescent Health, Applied Neuropsychology: Child, Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings. He has designed and participated in more than 80 Phase I, II and III clinical trial studies. Dr. Zhang also serves on multiple NIH P grants as the PI of Biostatistics Core. His methodology research interests including categorical data, longitudinal data, missing data, and recently on high-resolution microscope image data analysis. Dr. Zhang is also very active member of professional community, he was the president of the West Tennessee Chapter of American Statistical Association (WTASA).
