Institute Associate Director Renee Engeln honored for excellence in mentoring undergraduate research

Institute Associate Director Renee Engeln was recognized with the Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Research Award at Weinberg College's 2026 Teaching Awards. The annual awards celebrate accomplished faculty and graduate student instructors whose teaching and mentorship contribute to Northwestern's undergraduate educational experience. Engeln was honored for her dedication to supporting undergraduate students in their research and academic development.
