Miriam Novack

Miriam Novack is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University, within the Division of Outcomes and Measurement Science. Her research focuses on understanding and tracking health outcomes across the lifespan, with particular emphasis on children and adolescents. Dr. Novack has played a key role in the development of several large-scale assessment initiatives, including the NIH Baby Toolbox and the Mobile Toolbox—an innovative platform for self-administered, smartphone-based assessments. As part of the Mobile Toolbox initiative, she led efforts to evaluate the feasibility and validity of remote assessment tools specifically for use with adolescents.
